A queer collective of DJs are determined to bring drum & bass back to its queer roots and make the high-energy music genre a space for everyone. In London, during the aftermath of the pandemic they ambitiously prepare for their first event.

This is an upcoming feature documentary that follows the lives of Unorthodox (the UK’s first queer DnB movement) and captures in detail the lead up to their first-ever event. It’s a joyous story of collective action that unpacks issues such as homophobia and toxic masculinity in the DnB scene.
